In 1963 Albert J. Scaralia was a full time postal employee with four children and a loving dedicated wife. He decided a career in real estate would provide the future he was looking for.

In 1970, Al quit his secure job at the post office and when it was almost impossible to get a mortgage with 50% down, went into real estate full time. Most thought he was nuts. But you see, Al had a gift. He has unstoppable drive, sheer persistence, a tremendous attitude, hunger for knowledge and skill, and the willingness and desire to help others. The following October, Benjamin J. Scaralia joined the on going company with Albert J. Scaralia as President and Benjamin J. Scaralia as Vice President.

Al's first year full time, with no Multiple Listing Service, he sold 144 homes and had 85 listings plus worked in the Post Office for five months.

Expanding his company, Albert Scaralia, brought this business from his home office at 34 Angell Avenue in Cranston, Rhode Island to 906 Reservoir Avenue, Cranston, Rhode Island, where Albert Realtors officially opened its doors to the public.
